Auckland's population is growing at the size of a small city each year and our roads are a finite resource with a wide variety of demands placed on them.
The Auckland Network Optimisation Programme will improve Auckland's network productivity, agility and reliability. It is made up of both infrastructure and technology projects, the combination of which will provide more travel choices with a focus on higher occupancy modes and more effective freight movement.
This complex, high profile and ambitious Programme requires a Programme Manager with strong leadership and excellent communication skills to join our team and deliver AT's strategic outcomes.
As a recognised subject matter expert in Programme Management, you will bring:
15+ years extensive Programme delivery experience
Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership role
A relevant tertiary qualification and/or MSP or equivalent industry recognised qualification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels
Experience of leading large cross functional teams
A good understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of local government, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirements
A high level of resilience and persistence with the ability to manage challenging, ambiguous and complex issues logically
