He angitutanga: The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support the Group Shared Services Programme Director in leading the successful implementation of a shared services model for Auckland Council. The purpose of the Group Shared Services model is to integrate common functions and technologies across the Auckland Council Group, eliminating duplication and ensuring consistent, scalable, resilient, secure, and high-quality shared services. This role is crucial in driving organisational change, fostering collaboration, and empowering projects to achieve their objectives. You will also play a key role in developing and executing business cases that enhance efficiency across our services.Some of your key responsibilities will include:Supporting the strategic development and implementation of the GSS Programme in alignment with organisational goals.Leading and empowering project teams to foster collaboration and effective resource allocation.Managing stakeholder communications and building strong relationships across Auckland Council Group entities.Overseeing programme activities and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely delivery of objectives.Managing the GSS Programme budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency while monitoring financial performance.You are an experienced Programme Manager with a strong background in managing complex projects, preferably within the private and public sector. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a relevant field. With extensive experience, including several years in a senior leadership role, you have a proven ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate strong strategic insight.Your ability to be agile in adapting to changing circumstances is a key strength.
