Programme Director - Wellington - Radio Active Fm Limited

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead the development of our on-air programming, content and personnel across all broadcast platforms and channels.This role will be responsible for maintaining and building the station's reputation for new music and talent, creating effective training and retention resources, and ensuring that our programming is cutting-edge and reaches our audience through the most effective platforms and channels.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in programme direction, a passion for independent radio, and excellent leadership and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Collate information for reports, ensure compliance with broadcasting standards, copyright and other regulationsTrain, mentor and develop DJ talent (recruit, mentor, train and monitor on-air talent) both paid and voluntaryResponsible for on-air programming and content, sourcing new music and managing the in-studio library and programme music into playlisted showsAssist the Technical Manager in maintaining in-studio equipment and workspaceEnsure daily shows feature interview content and maintain high standards of interview bookingsRequirements:Proven experience as a Programme DirectorPassion for independent radio and musicExcellent leadership and communication skillsCurrent New Zealand driver's licence and access to a carEstimated Salary: NZD 80,000 - 100,000 per annum
