Babcock is looking for a Programme Delivery Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team based in Devonport, Auckland .
About the role
As the MFSS Programme Delivery Manager, you'll be at the helm of complex, large-scale maritime projects that directly support New Zealand's commercial and naval sectors. Leading a dynamic team, you'll ensure seamless integration of resources, project dependencies, and cutting-edge technologies to deliver world-class maintenance services to the RNZN Fleet. This is an exciting role where leadership meets innovation, giving you the chance to elevate performance across diverse functions including engineering, trade resources, and operational support.

About you
You are an experienced programme manager with a deep understanding of the maritime or defence industry. You excel in leading cross-functional teams, managing complex project dependencies, and driving successful outcomes in fast-paced environments. Your strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to influence stakeholders set you apart. You are proactive in identifying risks and opportunities and have a keen focus on continuous improvement. With your leadership, you ensure your team thrives and consistently meets project objectives.

Key Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management (Washington Accord-accredited)
AIPM Project Management Qualification (CPPD) – Certified Practicing Project Director
Extensive experience in a programme management role (5-10 years)
Experience working in maritime, defence, or similar sectors
