The Opportunity We are currently in an exciting period of growth and will be seeing significant investment into upgrading our Wiri site which is why this role is critical in supporting our Capital Works Projects.
Reporting into the Head of Capital Works, this is a great opportunity to work on a broad range of projects from small to large and work closely with cross functional teams.
This role will support the full project lifecycle of technical projects managing the people, process, systems or any other changes that are required for successful project delivery.
What you'll be doing Identify all the internal and external resources whether financial or human resources required to complete the project successfully Evaluate the project and identify any areas of risk that may cause delays or increase in budget Work closely with the Technical Project Managers to understand the potential impacts their projects will have on the wider business Manage project resources, schedules and financials Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure project delivery Report on success on the project and financial impact of any investments What's in your toolkit?
Experience managing multiple projects; supply chain experience would be advantageous but not essential Broad project experience managing people, process or systems; technical knowledge would be a bonus Excellent problem-solving skills; you will be able to come up with innovative solutions to any issues You will be highly inquisitive, always looking to find the answers yourself first Experience engaging and building rapport with a broad range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical Proven ability to identify risks and mitigate the effect on the project Experience or qualifications in project management frameworks (such as Prince2) Strong attention to detail Proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset We are looking for someone with a proactive approach that wants to learn and develop– so if you don't tick all the boxes but think you would be a great fit for Suntory, please apply anyway.
