Tekoa is seeking an experienced leader to serve as its Program Director. Tekoa is a large camping ministry in western NC that focuses on summer camp, afterschool, and year-round retreat programming experiences. The Program Director serves as a vital piece of the Tekoa ministry. Their primary function is to support the work of Camp Tekoa through creative leadership with a focus on staff development, ministry to campers and guests, and extending the mission of Tekoa into the world. The Program Director works in relationship with the Camp Tekoa Board of Trustees, staff, campers and their parents, alumni, retreat leaders, and participants to fulfill the mission and achieve objectives. The Program Director reports to the Executive Director.
This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
The Program Director will lead and develop staff, create engaging experiences for campers and guests, and share the mission of Tekoa with the world. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading and developing staff to create engaging experiences for campers and guests
Creating and implementing programs that align with Tekoa's mission and values
Building relationships with campers, guests, and stakeholders to fulfill the mission and achieve objectives
This position requires a strong leader with experience in camping ministry, staff development, and program implementation.
