Professional Administrator, Mental Health and Addictions Services at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral, Manawatu / Whanganui Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services at MidCentral have two exciting opportunities for experienced and enthusiastic Professional Administrators to join them.
Position One - Permanent, working 32 Hours, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday (negotiable) 8am – 4.30pm.Position Two – Temporary covering Parental Leave for 12 Months, working Monday to Friday, 9am – 3.30pm with half hour lunch break (30 hours a week).Please state in your covering letter if you have a preference. Our services are moving towards a wellness and recovery-focused approach that encourages interconnectedness socially, spiritually, physically and environmentally and encompasses the aspirations to achieve 'WAIORA' flourishing individuals, whanau, and communities. This new service model delivery approach will support the achievement of whanau whaiora.
As an experienced professional administrator you will be seeking this exciting and varied role supporting the leaders and services achieve this new model of care.
An professional administrator position is varied and challenging, requiring office administration, secretarial and time management skills. You will have the opportunity to lead and support the effective delivery of projects and initiatives alongside the Administration Lead and Locality Service Managers. You will be working with a diverse and talented team serving our community and clinical services for people experiencing mental health and addictions events.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Experience in administration team environment.Excellent computer literacy, particularly Windows, Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.Proven communication skills and the ability to connect and collaborate at all levels including senior leaders, external partners and frontline employees.Excellent word processing skills with a strong command of English, including grammar and spelling.To be team player, have a good sense of humour, be enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude.Our Organisation Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions.
