Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Pure Petfoods NZ is a Twizel based company that was established to create a premium brand of raw pet food, using predominantly wild species, for both the domestic and export market.

About the Role Reporting to the Managing Director, the Production Team Leader is responsible for contributing to and executing the work plan.
You will be responsible for the management of all production in the factory including ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are followed, allocating work to Team Members, day-to-day RMP management, lead the inputting of data in our electronic software for all raw materials, production, inventory, and sales.
As part of a small team, there is a significant component of hands-on work to ensure you stay connected to the team, develop in-depth knowledge of the production process and to ensure compliance and standards are continually met.
It is expected your role will be around 70% hands-on and 30% office based.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with, or wanting to develop, management skills to be first-hand connected to the operational running of a business.

Competent computer skills – specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience in food processing or primary industry.
An organised work approach and flexibility to support the team when needed.
Attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture.
A good sense of humour.
The following are desirable but not essential as training can be provided: NZQA units/New Zealand Certificate in Meat Processing/relevant qualifications.
First Aid certificate.
Workplace Health and Safety stage 1-3.
Management/leadership skills and qualifications.
