Production Planner (4 Day Week Option)

MCS is proud to be working with one of NI's leading food manufacturing companies looking to recruit for a Production Planner to join their fast growing team.Want to join a company who have grown by almost 300% in the last 5 years?As the Production Planner you will be responsible for the delivery of production plans for all products which will meet both customer requirements and stock target levels.You will be responsible for;The development of hourly, daily and weekly production schedules for all products which is optimised to account for labour utilisation & minimising impact of changeovers.Issuing an inclusive production schedule which accounts for Planned Preventative Maintenance, any NPD trials, and any prioritisation of products based on the up to date production plan and real-time customer orders.Calling off required raw materials and tertiary packaging items based on production plan whilst adhering to internal stock control policy.Aligning production and demand based on agreed SLA rules and to communicate production plans to the management team of manufacturing site.Day to day of the role?Loading multiple forecasts into the planning tool ( Excel worksheet), analyse the data and create the plan based on that data.Review previous day production and replan missed productionInvestigate and report orders that have been missed – CSLWeekly capacity planning based on forecastAnalyse and report risks with production and its impact on the delivery of the planLiaise with all the different departments to problem solve and minimise disruption to the planCriteria;The successful candidate will have relevant knowledge within a manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will have proficient numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data and computer skills.They will be highly proficient in the use of MS office tools in particular excel.Hours of work, start-finish times.Sun-Thurs – 5 days per week (8h shift) – Sunday from home once fully trainedOrSun-Weds – 4 days per week (10h shift) - Sunday from home once fully trainedFull details will be discussed upon application.To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Alan Montgomery, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group 92Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
