We are currently looking for Production Operators for our cheese factory in Puhoi , located 45km from Auckland CBD. This is a hands-on position that makes a strong contribution by ensuring production and packing targets are met. All compliance procedures are to be thoroughly followed while carrying out a variety of both manual and machinery tasks to support the team in developing the manufacturing function towards World Class standards.
Shift pattern for the production role:
Rotational shifts - 5 days on, 2 days off (either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday)
Start times are 6am, 8am, and 10am.
Total 46 hours per week
Pay Rate: starting from $27.54 p/h plus shift loadings
Key accountabilities of the role include:
Operation of dairy/cheese manufacturing equipment such as pasteurizers as per safe operating procedures
Manually handling products safely throughout the process
Effectively move between departments to assist
All online and required documentation completed accurately and timely
Ensure all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time frames
Execute start-up procedures and machine/equipment setups, operational processes, and cleaning processes correctly
Ensure all workplace incidents are accurately reported and recorded within the specified timeframes
