Production Manager

Who We're Looking For: We are seeking a dynamic Production Manager to lead and manage the entire brewing process, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing production, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring operational efficiency across all areas of the brewery.

Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed. 

Applicants must have the following as per employer's requirement:  

NZQF Level 3 OR ONE YEAR WORK EXPERIENCE
Must be physically fit 
Must pass pre-employment drug test 
Must provide a CV Must provide verifiable references of previous employment history
Must have right to work in NZ/be NZ resident/Citizen

 
Responsibilities:

Production Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement production strategies to achieve optimal output in terms of quality and quantity while ensuring cost-efficiency.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily production activities, including managing equipment, scheduling, and maintaining the flow of operations, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted processes.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the production team, ensuring high performance, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
Cost Management & Efficiency: Monitor production costs and adjust processes and resources as needed to minimize expenses and maximize output.
Process Improvement: Research and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment upgrades, and process efficiencies.
 
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and occupational health and safety standards across all brewery activities.
Administrative Management: Oversee the accurate preparation and maintenance of production records, reports, and documentation for smooth administrative operations.
Maintenance & Equipment: Plan and supervise maintenance activities, including the acquisition and installation of new equipment to ensure optimal performance of all machinery.
Cleanliness & Order: Ensure the brewery is kept clean, tidy, and organized, maintaining a professional and safe working environment.
