Production Manager

Job Title: Production Manager Salary: 120k per year About Venerdi: We are a family owned food manufacturing business based in Kelston, West Auckland. This is a full time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm role.(Flexibility to meet production demand is a must, as we are open 24 hours 6 days a week) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager with experience in lean manufacturing and a strong leadership background to oversee our plant operations in Kelston. The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive continuous improvement, coach and guide team members effectively, and uphold accountability within the production processes. The Production Manager will be responsible for meeting compliance, quality, and productivity KPIs while fostering a culture of care, courage, and curiosity within the team. Skills Required: - Strong background in lean manufacturing principles - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach and guide team members - Problem-solving abilities with attention to detail - Ability to hold be teams accountable to get the best out of them while having openness and self-awareness. - Understanding of process improvement methodologies - Persistence and consistency in achieving goals - Excellent interpersonal skills Manufacturing experience is required Responsibilities: - Lead plant operations to meet compliance, quality, and productivity KPIs - Implement systems for continuous improvement in production processes - Work closely with Team Leaders to build engaged teams focused on problem-solving and innovation Experience in a production management Perks for Employee: -Friendly work environment with multicultural staff -Coffee & Hot Chocolate Machines available -New Zealand family-owned business Must have the right to work in New Zealand
