A leading provider of maize-based products to the New Zealand and global market.Due to an internal appointment, we are looking to appoint a new Production Manager, to oversee the day-to-day operation of our maize and glucose production facility.In this leadership role, you will positively promote company values, team member health & safety, and quality programs while meeting operational objectives for production and yield. Reporting to the Production and Supply Chain Manager, you will have four direct reports in production, warehouse, and packaging operations.Some of your core responsibilities will include:Building and developing a high-performance teamSetting and driving goals, KPIs, and projects to strive to improve plant operational performance and outputEstablishing operational rhythms to ensure appropriate flow of information to all levels of the siteProviding daily support to all operational staff, ensuring they have the resources required to deliver on business objectivesEnsuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements including H&S and QualityPromote a positive image of the site and company by collaborating with customers, government, and community organisationsCoordinating production workflow for one or multiple products.Planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.Determining manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.We are looking for:This role requires a dynamic leader with measurable results in delivering high-performance teams and building a strong workplace culture.
