Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering) You will join the Engineering Team and become the technical interface between our Engineering and Production Teams. You'll be responsible for the development and maintenance of the production test process, equipment and documentation. Reporting to the Head of Engineering you'll work closely with the Production Team and our Senior Electronics Engineer. Because we're a small team we want someone willing to get stuck in across a broad range of responsibilities.Role responsibilities:Production test process development and maintenance;Develop new troubleshooting and testing capabilities to reduce the amount of technical support required as we increase manufacturing volumes.Ownership of the design, build and maintenance of our automated production test process and equipment. A suitable candidate may also manage software development and maintenance for production testing.Documentation of test equipment operating instructions and troubleshooting guides. You'll also need to clearly document your design thinking and decisions when developing new test capabilities.Technical support for our on-site production line;Investigate and fix problematic PCBs from the production line including diagnosis of any product returns.Assist our PCB manufacturing partners with technical support for production issues.Documenting and co-ordinating the release of design changes between the Engineering and Production teams.Provide design input and feedback on active product development projects to ensure smooth future releases to active production lines.Be an active member of our Evnex team;Contribute positively to the team culture and embrace the company core values. You'll be comfortable working in a small multi-discipline design team, you'll love to learn new things and you'll be a strong self-starter.You will be able to demonstrate the following:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.At least 3 years of experiencedeveloping and/or maintaining production test equipment.The ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into designs.Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with PCBs including being proficient in soldering and rework techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience using Altium Designer for schematic and PCB design would be a strong advantage.About EvnexEvnex is an equal opportunities employer.
