Product Owner - Data & Insight 6-month contract Working remotely is fine, but the person will need to visit either New Plymouth or Wellington from time to time. Our client is looking for a Product Owner particularly in the Azure DevOps space using Azure Data Lake, Synapses, PowerBI, and/or Fabric. Ideally, they prefer someone who has been the manager for an Application Development team recently. The person will focus on working with the Data & Insights team to improve their ways of working. They are looking to move them to adopting a formal SDLC or DataOps model, so the person would have been drawing on their experience in managing development teams and being a Product Owner to revamp the processes and ways of working. Skills & Experience Data & Analytics team management SDLC development & management Development team workflow management Product Ownership Agile practices Soft Skills Comfortable leading and planning workshops to develop the items above would be mandatory. Experience process mapping in Promapp is desirable. Experience in using Azure DevOps for agile workflow management is also desirable.
