As a hands-on Product person you will work with a cross-functional team and drive the successful delivery of high-quality products. Articulate immediate goals/work and how they relate to our product and business strategy. Partner with the Engineering Manager to ensure that what is being built is of the highest strategic and customer value. Share the product vision with UX/UI specialists to ensure that the design will embody the product goals Analyse product performance and outcomes to measure success and identify greatest impact areas to improve. Work with others to ideate and test possible ideas. Be 'ahead of the game' in terms of ensuring (in partnership with the product team) pieces of work are investigated, broken down, and have a shared understanding. Ensure the team has the detail and certainty they need to progress product work forward as quickly and efficiently as possible. Own and maintain the product backlog and make sure all artefacts are in place to allow your teammates to move fast. Craft user stories or other documentation with appropriate levels of detail. Ensure any unknowns, roadblocks, or other issues are effectively addressed as quickly as possible. Seize opportunities or remove hurdles creatively and systematically. Help out wherever you can! What you'll bring: Experience working in an agile software development environment. Experience in an entry level product role or transferable speciality/skill set (e.g. Business or Test Analyst). An understanding of product development, product principles, and practices. The ability to see the big picture but also dive into the details. Drive to jump into the deep end, learn as you go, and make a real difference. Comfort in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, start-up environment. A desire to improve the wellbeing of all New Zealanders. Relentless positivity Working with us: You will join our growing team of technical, design, sales, product and clinical support people primarily based in Wellington. We are passionate about helping people through our products and genuinely want to make the world a better place (while having fun at work). It's great working at a place with real meaning! You'll also receive a competitive salary and truly significant lifestyle benefits. We are looking for good people and understand that good people sometimes have commitments outside of work. While we want most of our work to be done with the rest of the team from our Wellington CBD office, we stay flexible regarding when and where you want to work. If you want to help make the world a better place while working with a great team, get in touch. Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
