About the role We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Produce Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will advise and actively assist retail stores with all aspects of the produce department operation whilst ensuring company expectations are met and aligned with banner groups strategic objectives. Play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional support and expertise to our customers in the fruit and vegetable department. You will also assist stores in achieving the best customer experience, focusing on operational best practice, and supporting store teams through training and process simplification. Key responsibilities include: Provide expert guidance to stores with regard to products, merchandising, equipment and system support. Influence store teams to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence. Collaborate with other departments to develop innovative retail solutions and minimise food waste. Train and support store teams in produce operations and customer engagement strategies. Problem-solve operational challenges and maintain a keen eye for detail in presentation standards. Contribute and support store refurbishments, upgrades, and new builds, ensuring alignment with company values and operational goals. Drive innovation in fixture development, equipment utilization, and process efficiency. About you Proven ability to influence others and drive success through effective communication and leadership. Strong problem-solving skills with a fine eye for detail in produce operations and customer service. Digital competency to utilize technology for operational efficiencies and customer engagement.
