We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract reporting to the Supply Chain Services Manager, based in our Crooks Road office in East Tamaki. You will actively be involved in ensuring that materials and services are provided across functional business streams.
In this role, you will:
Support the development and execution of key purchasing projects.Support transitions to and from suppliers in the support of purchasing strategies with minimal cost and disruption to the business and customers.Source and evaluate suppliers including negotiation, documentation and administration of supplier contracts and service level agreements and support for RFP's, RFQ's and potential vendor tenders. Assist and support with new procurement systems implementations e.g., SAP AribaCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications. This may be advisory or full management pending project requirementsSupport the upkeep and maintenance of data and other required systems within JDE NZ and ensure master data is regularly updated and maintained.QualificationsFor this role as a Procurement Specialist, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
3 years' procurement experience within the FMCG and/or manufacturing industryExperience with reporting and analytics (Power BI & Excel)Experience within SAP environment – advantageYou are analytically focused, with the ability to creatively problem solve complex situationsSystems SavvyProven internal and external stakeholder management skillsProven experience in managing multiple priorities and work autonomouslyAdditional InformationWhat's in it for you?
