We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate Procurement Manager based in Auckland. Our Procurement Manager will lead all strategic procurement activities within the New Zealand business with the objective of reducing costs while identifying and optimising opportunities and supplier relationships.
Responsible for the development of local procurement strategies in support of local strategic objectives, the Procurement Manager will:
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and process complexity by the identification, scoping and delivery of cost improvement projects with minimal cost and disruption to the NZ business and its customers.Source, evaluate and select strategic local suppliers. This includes negotiation, documentation and administration of supplier contracts and service level agreements.Manage the relationships with strategic finished goods, packaging and logistics suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in the provision of goods and services to support business requirements.Set up supplier management KPI's and review cadence.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will be someone who thrives on continuous improvement activities and enabling the business to deliver on its strategic objectives through productive management and planning. We're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
7+ years procurement experience in relevant industryA track record of delivering results related to cost and cashExcellent communication, influencing and negotiation skillsA passion for continuous improvement and inquisitive mindsetAdvanced Microsoft office capability, particularly Word and Excel.
