We are now looking for a Procurement Manager who will report to the Chief Information Officer / Group Procurement, and will be responsible for but not limited to:
Providing strategic thinking, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of procurement needs.Developing and implementing procurement strategies.Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to secure the best terms and conditions.Leading and mentoring the Procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.Working closely with internal stakeholders, to align procurement activities with business needs.Maintain a culture that continually reviews services, business processes, systems, and market information to ensure continuous improvement and best practice principles are adopted.About you: To be successful in this role you will have strong procurement experience ideally within the trades industry (mechanical, plumbing or electrical). You will be a strong negotiator with contract management skills and an excellent analytical leader with exceptional problem-solving abilities. We are seeking an individual that has solid understanding of supply chain management, proficiency in procurement software and tools and if you have previous fleet operations experience then this is highly desirable.
In addition, you will have:
