The opportunity is available as the current Procurement Manager has been promoted to another position in the business.
The Opportunity As the Procurement Manager, you will manage, lead and control all aspects of the procurement, supplier relationship management and contract management activities.
In addition to this, you will also be responsible for fleet, property management and the management of the warehousing and inventory function with four direct reports (Warehouse Supervisor, Facilities and Fleet Coordinator, Procurement Analyst, and Procurement and Warehouse Administrator).
Your responsibilities will include, though not be limited to:
Full responsibility for end-to-end procurementDevelopment of spend category sourcing plansDrive improvements across systems, processes and proceduresSupplier relationship managementReview of existing contracts and systemsExecution of improvementsProcurement analysis and contribution to wider commercial and financial plans and strategyBusiness partner to the leadership team, participating in key decisions around strategic initiatives and operational executionAll goods and services supplied to the business are delivered at optimal quality while minimising costWhat's in it for you You are an experienced Procurement professional with demonstrable experience in driving improvements while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Your relationship management skills, and ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders will set you up to succeed in a key and highly visible leadership role in the business.
