10 days entitlement will be available at 12 months service thereafter.About the role:The Principal Advisor plays a key role in aligning WellSouth's strategic objectives with operational activities by providing high-level advisory support, facilitation, and coordination across organisational priorities.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role enhances the integration of performance, assurance, reporting, and contract management, while supporting the successful delivery of sector-wide initiatives and strategic projects.
By fostering collaboration across teams and engaging with external stakeholders, the Principal Advisor ensures WellSouth's contributions are effective, cohesive, and aligned with its mission and values.To be successful in this role, you will:Ten or more years' experience in a similar or comparable role.A relevant university degree or a tertiary qualification in Health Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.A postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in leadership or strategic advisory roles is desirable.Experience in business planning, analysis, internal consultation and engagement, and interaction with decision-makers.Significant experience in relationship management and developing and maintaining extensive internal and external networks.Experience working with performance, assurance, and reporting frameworks within a complex organisational setting.Strong time management skills and ability to work calmly during times of pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating complex relationships and advocating effectively.Our Values - To Matou UaraHe mana to te whanau – Whanau CentredTokeke - EquitableManawa whakaute - RespectfulPono – TransparentFor the full Position Description click here.Please note that we don't always work to fixed closing dates & may interview candidates as their applications are received.Applications close: 21 January 2025Applications must include a CV and a cover letter.WellSouth Primary Health Network is an equal opportunity employer.
