Mo te tunga | About the roleAs the Principal Advisor, you will support the development and delivery of organisational strategy, ensuring the Assistant Commissioner for Tamaki Makaurau and Northland is enabled to deliver Police and Government priorities and goals. You will be integral to supporting Tamaki Makaurau Governance through delivering on robust practices. You will be required to provide advice on sensitive, strategic or risk areas to the Assistant Commissioner and the leadership team. You will produce, read and analyse policies, strategies, etc. to consider all options and make recommendations on appropriate action. Some travel may be required.This role is set at Strategic Leader level; this means your key purpose is "to lead the strategy, Our Business, and enable our people to deliver it".Security Clearance RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you may be asked to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET national security clearance.
