We're looking for an influencer who will continue to win the hearts and minds of our people.About the roleReporting to the Group Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager, the Principal Advisor will deliver our critical risk programme, ensuring work is planned, resourced, implemented, and governed, to achieve our objectives.The Principal Advisor will:Contribute to our HSW strategy and planning, ensuring a robust and sustainable roadmap for deliveryLead our critical risk projects and initiatives to deliver the required outcomesDevelop and implement practical HSW standards across the organisation, with an initial focus on the identification and proactive management of critical risksCoach managers and stakeholders across PGW, to implement PGW's HSW standardsEnsure systems, processes, and procedures protect our people, and meet our legislative obligationsModel behaviours which drive a positive safety culture, reinforcing HOP principles.About you/You will have:A minimum of five years' experience as a HSW professional (Candidates with experience in an aligned industry will be given preference - Agriculture, heavy industrial, construction, logistics, or utilities)A relevant tertiary qualificationProven project management skills including leading HSW initiatives in a complex businessA toolkit of standards, initiatives, and communications where you have shown your ability to tailor these to meet practical, cultural, and commercial needsDemonstrated success in coaching and guiding change with a focus on HSW.
