Fixed term or secondment to February 2026Full time, Wellington based roleRemuneration range $144,291 - $160,000 p/a including KiwiSaver contributions.Mo tenei turanga mahi | About this roleThis is a newly established role with a dedicated focus on leading and supporting DPMC's response to Phase 2 of the Royal Commission into the lessons learned from Aotearoa New Zealand's response to COVID-19.This Principal Advisor will have a focus on providing technical leadership and mentoring in relation to the department's response to Phase 2 of the Royal Commission into the lessons learned from Aotearoa New Zealand's response to COVID-19. In this small team, the Principal Advisor will take the lead in proactively identifying information and providing advice on related COVID-19 material, including developing responses to requests for information from the Royal Commission.The Principal Advisor is also responsible for supporting engagement with stakeholders, providing advice, and ensuring that emerging or potential risks to the effectiveness of DPMC's response are identified in a timely manner and reported for early DPMC management consideration.
