We have an exciting opportunity for a press brake operator in Dunedin. Requirements:Proven experience in metal fabrication, specifically in aluminium sheet metal manufacturing, Expertise in operating metal folding machines and brake presses within factory settings.Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints for accurate metal bending and forming.Attention to detail in measurements and alignments to ensure precise product specifications.Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established safety protocols.Responsibilities:Operate and set up CNC or manual metal folding machines and brake presses to produce ducting and other sheet metal products.Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine required bends and dimensions for metal parts.Adjust machine settings such as pressure and positioning to achieve accurate bends and shapes.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation and product quality promptly.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace and perform routine maintenance on machinery.Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and product quality.Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
