Salary: Up to $210,000 + vehicle or car allowance

Join a senior leadership team and make a genuine difference in this multiple award-winning Christchurch civil contractor, recognized as an employer of choice. Due to the aspiration to grow their business in a declining local market, the need has arisen for a Pre Construction Manager to join the team after the departure of a valued staff member overseas.

In this role, you will report to the Commercial Manager and General Manager and be a key link as part of the Senior Leadership Team. They are seeking a skilled Estimator capable of pricing a broad range of projects from $1 million to $30 million in Christchurch and Canterbury.

Ideally, you will have:

Estimating/tendering experience in the civil infrastructure/contracting industry

Strong commercial and contractual acumen

Client relationship management experience with proven successful outcomes

Experience in collaborating with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders

Estimating software experience

Business development experience and client contacts to identify future construction opportunities

You will work in a professional environment with like-minded professionals and interact with the General Manager, Commercial Manager, Construction Manager, Quantity Surveyors, and Divisional Managers.
