We are seeking a Practice Manager to become a key member of our dynamic team. As the Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the non-medical operations of the medical centre, ensuring the smooth coordination of tasks, teams, and the care provided to our enrolled patients. You will be supported by a dedicated Practice Coordinator and work closely with our committed Clinical Nurse Leads Team to create a seamless environment for both staff and patients. Key Responsibilities Oversee the non-medical operations of both Invercargill Medical Centre and South City Medical, ensuring efficiency and a high standard of patient care. Manage staff, coordinate workflows, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to maintain an organized and supportive working environment. Support the financial health of the practice, managing budgets, claims, and financial reporting. Foster a high-performing, engaged team culture that drives patient satisfaction and practice growth. Work alongside South Link Health in Dunedin for finance, HR, recruitment, IT, business development, and marketing support. Prepare Board Reports. What You'll Bring Proven experience in Management. Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to juggle tasks and manage teams. A passion for working in a primary care setting, embracing the variety and challenges it brings. Strong attention to detail, especially in managing financials, budgets, and claims. A positive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to pitch in where needed to get the mahi done.
