EastCare Health is looking for a dedicated Practice Manager for our healthcare practice in this very special, highly deserving community. EastCare is in the heart of Aranui, a culturally diverse, vibrant community in East Christchurch. We are a close-knit supportive team that understands the importance of holistic patient care, embodying manaakitanga and making use of wrap-around services to best meet the unique needs of our patients.
As part of the Tamaki Health Group, New Zealand's largest independent primary healthcare group, we make the most of being part of a large network with shared resources and administrative support.
As a Practice Manager, you will be the central person to ensure our clinic operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting our clinical teams in delivering outstanding patient care.

A full position description is available. Areas of responsibility include:
Oversight of financial processes
Ensuring an excellent customer experience
Leadership, including direct management of the Medical Receptionists and being part of the practice leadership team
Human Resources, such as recruitment, training and onboarding
Clinic Performance, ensuring the practice is sufficiently resourced, managing the roster and driving patient enrolments
Oversight of all relevant accreditation standards.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
Strong computer skills, experience using a Patient Management System is desirable
Experience in, and understanding of, the primary health sector (desirable)
Experience in building a high performing team
Post-secondary qualification (desirable)
Excellent customer service, communication, and numeric skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise across multiple stakeholders

A high level of integrity and confidentiality
A high attention to detail and accuracy
Commitment to health equity and cultural competency and can demonstrate an understanding of Tikanga Maori, Kawa Maori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Other Requirements
Proof of legal right to work in New Zealand (Essential).
NZ Driver's license (Desirable).
