About the Role:
We're seeking a Practice Lead to drive innovation and lead a high-performing team of software engineers within our Digital Engineering team. The Practice Lead - AI is responsible for leading and driving Datacom's AI practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality AI solutions and services to our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, industry trends, and business needs. The successful candidate will lead a team of AI experts, foster innovation, and drive business growth through the strategic application of AI.
Role Responsibilities
The Practice Lead - AI is responsible for (but not limited to):
Strategic Leadership:
Defining and executing the AI practice strategy, aligning with Datacom's overall business objectives.
Identifying and prioritizing emerging AI trends and technologies.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions.
Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and their potential applications.
Recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing team of AI experts.
Providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Client Engagement:
Identifying and pursuing new AI opportunities with clients.
Consulting with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into AI solutions.
Leading client engagements, ensuring successful delivery of AI projects.
Solution Delivery:
Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, from data ingestion and preparation to model training and deployment.
Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and scalability of AI solutions.
Encouraging and promoting innovation within the AI practice.
Exploring new AI applications and use cases.
Collaborating with research institutions and industry partners.
Key Skills and Experience:
Strong technical background in AI, machine learning, and data science.
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and delivering complex projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong business acumen and understanding of client needs.
Experience in working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
