The opportunity:
As a Practice Development Adviser, you will be at the forefront of supporting AIA FAP Advisers across New Zealand, helping them adopt and continually use practice management solutions that minimise business risk and increase professionalism. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring advisers implement efficient, compliant processes while harnessing technology to enhance their operations.
You will provide high-level consultancy to adviser businesses, guiding them to meet regulatory compliance, improve operational efficiency, and drive sales. Your efforts will maintain collaborative support across stakeholders, enhancing business production and creating a dependency on AIA NZ through strategic development of key stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities include:

Training and Facilitation: Leading the onboarding and continuous training of advisers, ensuring they adopt and maintain practice management solutions to reduce business risk and enhance professionalism.
Consultancy and Compliance: Providing expert consultancy to help advisers develop compliant, efficient processes and adhere to industry regulations, improving their operational effectiveness.
Practice Management Solutions: Working closely with advisers to implement tailored solutions, leveraging technology to optimise their business processes.
Technology Implementation: Promoting and supporting the use of AIA technologies, such as Xplan and eApp, ensuring advisers derive maximum benefits in line with AIA's strategy.
Collaborative Business Support: Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, enabling business production and fostering long-term partnerships that position AIA as the preferred partner.
Data Management: Collaborating with intermediaries and technical teams to manage adviser CRM data efficiently and support smooth business operations.

Ideally, you'll bring:

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Relationship management expertise, with a track record of building deep, meaningful connections both internally and externally.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce and Xplan) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent presentation skills, with experience delivering training and creating content for both group and one-on-one settings.
A solid understanding of the NZ financial services industry, including compliance regulations, adviser sales practices, and best practice management.
The ability to translate complex processes involving product and technology into clear, understandable terms.
A relevant qualification (or progress toward one), such as the NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5.
