We are looking for a Poukaea Rautaki for Manawa Titi Family Violence Multi Agency ResponseKo wai matou | Who are weManawa Titi is a multi-agency response partnering local iwi/hapu, government agencies and non-government organisations to reduce family harm in communities.Manawa Titi operates under the Whangaia Nga Pa Harakeke model, a practice of dedicated staffing and infrastructure that includes:A collaborative hub of iwi/hapu, non-government (NGO) and multi-disciplinary partners.Safety Assessment Meetings held to consider all new police reports of family harm.Developing partner cooperation and coordination to align service provision with the needs of the community.We are seeking a full-time Poukaea Rautaki for a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead and enable the delivery of the strategic priorities for Manawa Titi, to collaborate with iwi, government and community partners and to provide a connection between the Kaiarahi and Taumata. This position is hosted by Whai Maia but based at Manawa Titi, the Balmoral Family Violence Police Station and reports to the Director of Manawa Titi and Taumata ki Manawa Titi.Responsibilities:Lead and communicate across multi-agencies and diverse relationships.Drive and implement strategy in an environment of indigenous collaborative practices.Encourage innovative ways of working to achieve our vision: Our whanau and communities in Tamaki Makaurau are safe and supported to live their lives free of family violence.Facilitate collaboration and relationship brokerage.The person we are seeking:Will have knowledge of the family violence sector and experience working with iwi/Maori communities.
