These positions are in the regional training rotation programme with Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Auckland Region Districts comprising Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waitemata and Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Counties Manukau Districts.
Haematology Training includes rewarding broad experience for general medical trainees and those who want to pursue a haematology career.
If you are looking to try a medical specialty which integrates cutting edge molecular science with lots of patient interaction, haematology may be for you.
There are two types of jobs available:
Advanced Training in Haematology You will need to have passed the FRACP written exam or be registered to sit the clinical exam for 2023.
These positions will only be offered to those who have passed the clinical exam and completed basic training.
Eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Support and assistance with this process is provided.
You will have completed at least 6 months of clinical haematology before applying.
Must be at least a Basic Trainee Registrar with the RACP.
Advanced Training in Medical Oncology You will need to have passed the FRACP written and clinical exam.
These positions will only be offered to those who have passed the clinical exam and completed basic training.
Eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Support and assistance with this process is provided.
Part time and reduced FTE placements will be considered.
