We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Portfolio Manager to join the Te Kaupeka Ako | Faculty of Education team and provide essential high-level support to the Faculty Manager. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the effective operational leadership and enhance the overall efficiency of the Faculty by managing key projects and operational activities to enhance continuous improvement and innovation.
Your key responsibilities as Portfolio Manager include planning, managing, implementing, and reporting on a broad range of projects and operational activities; providing strategic support and ensuring alignment with the Faculty's goals; overseeing administrative systems and procedures; administering financial documentation and providing insightful financial data analysis; and leading and managing staff, fostering a supportive and high-performance environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in a similar managerial or leadership role, and have:
Experience in tertiary education, which is highly desirableStaff management experience and a track record of leading teams effectivelyStrong planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent time and task management capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal, leadership, and coaching skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and advanced computer literacyA comprehensive knowledge of administrative systems, procedures, and financial documentation managementAbility to work independently, applying initiative and innovation to achieve resultsExperience working with diverse teams and individuals from varied backgrounds.Why Join Us?
