Their multi-award-winning products, strong focus on ESG, alternative investment strategies, and tailor-made service, sets them apart from the competition.The RoleThe role of the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring and implementation of the investment strategy, with a key focus on Australasian equities and ethical investing. This role reports to the Chief Investment Officer and is based in Auckland's CBD.Key Responsibilities:Provide investment management and oversight of funds or other pools of risk assets, as agreed with the CIO, including portfolio design, security selection, portfolio construction, review and analysis.Primary responsibility will be to achieve risk and return objectives for the Trans-Tasman equity strategies.Manage portfolios in accordance with an ethical investment framework - Thought leadership around ethical investing is a must.Provide leadership in continual development of core investment management techniques.Provide leadership and judgement to the wider investment team.Provide insight/analysis on markets, managers, and investment strategies.Preparation of regular market, performance and compliance reporting.Research new investment ideas.About YouYou are a proactive team player with a positive and professional attitude. You are self-motivated with an ability to think critically and to use initiative and good judgement. You'll have strong project management skills, highly organised and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and capable of managing multiple requirements simultaneously. You are an investment professional who is excited by generating individual wealth and collective well-being through ethical investing. You'll have the ability to articulate investment ideas and discuss relevance to market professionals. You'll have strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to interact and maintain relationships at all levels.In addition, you have:5-7 years' experience related to, ideally, Australasian equity portfolio construction.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Investments or Economics, or related field required.
