Contribute your skills to help NZ transition to low emissions energy.Could be suitable for someone early in their career with training opportunities provided.12-month fixed-term position based in our Wellington office.Mo te tunga | About the roleThe Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) has important work on the horizon, contributing to NZ's Emissions Reduction Plan. This is an exciting opportunity to join EECA's Contract Management Team, which is responsible for negotiating and managing a wide portfolio of contracts.The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for assisting the team with the administration of funding and co-funding contracts and the overall reporting of financial and non-financial progress across the portfolio.We're looking for someone with 2+ years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have:Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with numerical data.Experience tracking metrics and producing a variety of reports.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong relationship management skills.Energy or decarbonisation industry knowledge (would be an advantage).Passionate about EECA's mission.An important opportunity to join a government agency with a strong focus on delivery, to do meaningful work with motivated people that has a tangible impact on the lives of New Zealanders.EECA's mission is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.
