Purpose As a Porter/Public Area Cleaner, your role is all about making our hotel guests' stay as smooth as possible. You will be there to warmly greet guests, help with luggage, offer concierge services, and keeping our public spaces sparkling clean. Your dedication ensures that every guest has a wonderful stay, leaving with cherished memories of great hospitality.
Primary Responsibilities Your vital task will involve crafting an authentic and inviting first impression.
Consistently delivering top-notch customer service to guests throughout their stay will be a key aspect of your role.
Ensure the property always looks its best, with a keen focus on both indoor and outdoor public areas to meet our high cleanliness and presentation standards.
Storing luggage and delivering bags to and from rooms will be part of your hands-on duties.
You will lend a hand with parking guests' cars, making their experience hassle-free.
Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, from maintenance problems to damaged equipment and missing items.
Skills & Experience Your communication style is warm and welcoming where guests and team members alike feel right at home around you!
You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Have a good grasp of local knowledge or the ability to quickly learn and improve current knowledge.
Drivers licence – possessing an open (manual) drivers licence is advantageous.
