The Pohutukawa Learning Centre meets the needs of diverse learners. Ensuring all students can achieve their best is at the heart of what we do. We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team and deliver a range of learning support programmes across Y7-12. The successful candidate will have experience teaching students with diverse learning needs and will understand effective pedagogical practices. The successful applicant will thrive working collaboratively with colleagues across the College and take a keen interest in providing holistic support for students.
We seek a passionate and dedicated experienced learning support specialist to join our team. This role involves providing academic support to students in Y7-12, focusing on numeracy, literacy, and executive functioning.
The successful applicant will:
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning.
Have expertise in meeting the needs of neurodivergent students.
Build strong, positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
