With a strong focus on practical, hands-on education, to prepare their students for successful careers in a rapidly evolving workforce you will report to our Head of School Trades and Technology in this role.EIT¦Te Pukenga offers over 150 qualifications from certificate and diploma to degree and postgraduate levels at campuses in Hawke's Bay, Tairawhiti (Gisborne) and Auckland.

You will be a qualified Plumber with relevant trade qualifications and industry experience in Plumbing, Gasfitting, and/or Drainlaying.
Teaching experience is highly desirable but not essential.
You will be a problem solver, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
To be successful in this role you must have the ability to Pass a police and work with children check.Your duties will include but are not limited to: Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their growth and skill development.
Deliver high-quality classes, workshops, and practical training sessions in Plumbing, Gasfitting, and/or Drainlaying.
Provide clearly defined learning within courses.
Undertake effective, valid and reliable assessment of students.
Participate in the ongoing development of new courses for which we will provide guidance and training.
