You will be one of four new roles to join the newly established leadership team that will implement a Digital Transformation Strategy that informs the future design and delivery of digital services at GNS. Reporting to the DS&I Transformation Executive, you will play a key leadership role in a significant change programme to ensure we have technology and systems that enable our critical science delivery. You will have a clear focus on taking your people along with you on the change journey.ResponsibilitiesThe Platforms and Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management and delivery of GNS' digital platform services and IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud environments. The role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of all digital services, overseeing network operations, cloud services, and security operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting GNS' research activities by providing a robust and secure digital foundation.About youYou will hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, ITIL Certification, and a formal Project Management certification or equivalent experience.
