Planting Team Leader

We are seeking a Team Leader to lead our Planting team!The JobBased in North Canterbury (90 mins from Christchurch and 60 mins from Kaikoura by bus)Averaging 35-50 hours, 4-6 days per week (weather/crop dependent)Free transport to and from work daily from the accommodation (15-20 mins from work)In consultation with the Planting Supervisor, ensure the Planting Tractor, planters and equipment are maintained and taken care ofLead the Planting team infield, ensuring Health and Safety rules and instructions are followedIn consultation with the Planting Supervisor, take care of seedlings received from the independent nurseryEnsure the infield planting operation is running efficientlyThe CandidateYou will be a team player that enjoys working in a close-knit outdoor environment.
