The Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology is seeking experienced directors for the Plant and Food Research Board.
About the Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited (PFR): PFR enhances the value and productivity of New Zealand's horticultural, arable, seafood, and food and beverage industries.
Person Specifications - Director:

Proven governance experience.
A genuine interest in science and its economic benefit for New Zealand.
Background in science and innovation, ideally with experience in the commercialisation of science.
Expertise in change management and human resources.
Business and commercial acumen, including industry connections.
Financial acumen, including audit and risk management expertise.
Stakeholder management experience.
Media and public relations experience.
Credibility and experience within the science system and connection to end users.
