We have a unique leadership opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as the Manager of Planning and Growth. This role holds significant importance as it encompasses responsibilities related to our growth strategy and strategic resource management for our community.
Nga Kawenga me nga Mahi - Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure the growth strategy and town concept plans are operationalized and reviewed in accordance with necessary timeframes and guidelines.
Effectively lead, review, and enable growth outcomes identified by the Growth Strategy.
Ensure the Planning and Growth team are mentored, motivated, and supported, and colleagues across the organisation are provided with accurate technical guidance.
Provide technical advice on matters relating to Resource Management to facilitate planned and sustainable growth within the district.
He korero mou: About you
We are seeking a dynamic individual who can lead a team, inspire innovation, and ensure the seamless flow of information to support decision-making. With a bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Resource Management/Planning, or its equivalent, you will have a solid track record in local/regional/urban planning and policy development experience, ideally in local or central government.
At this level, it goes without saying that your financial and business acumen are second to none and you are always striving for process improvement and efficiency.
