For more information about the company visit www.eanetworks.co.nz.The RoleBased in Ashburton and reporting to the Commercial Manager Contracting, the Planner/Scheduler ensures the coordination of contracting projects to optimize resources.
You will be responsible for liaising with operational managers to create the 12-month rolling project schedule, coordinating resources, traffic management, and project workflows while optimizing costs and minimizing network outages.
Additional duties include forecasting resources, resolving scheduling conflicts, maintaining project compliance, and providing accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Your Skills and ExperienceYou will be an experienced planner and/or scheduler, with expertise in resource allocation and scheduling tools.
A tertiary qualification in business, management, engineering, or a similar field is preferred; however, of greater importance will be your strong organizational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs, attention to detail, and experience within a contracting environment will be essential.You will be a clear communicator, problem-solver, and collaborator who thrives at multi-tasking, is an innovative thinker while delivering accurate results.To ApplyIn this role, you will collaborate with like-minded people who are passionate about keeping the lights and internet on throughout the Ashburton District.
