Ellesmere Rugby is a Sub Union of the Canterbury Rugby Football Union. We are made up of 16 member clubs based throughout the Selwyn District. Our mission is to grow, manage and advance rugby throughout our union.About the Role:The Rugby Operations Manager is responsible for leading and delivering community rugby within Ellesmere.The role will involve:Coordinating all aspects of the Ellesmere/ Combined Country Senior, Teenage and Junior grades under the guidance and supervision of the ERSU Chair and CRFU Community Operations Manager.Providing effective and efficient administrative support and communication to the ERSU Board, Clubs, Schools, and other key stakeholders.Responsible for the coordination of the Ellesmere Representative Programmes.Financial Management: Assisting with the compilation and management of the annual budget, investigating and securing opportunities for funding through grants and sponsorship.Skills and experience:Experience in leading the delivery of community rugby.Ability to build effective working relationships quickly across a diverse range of stakeholders.Highly efficient professional with experience in leading a team.Highly organised, confident and calm, with a can-do attitude.Passionate about community sport.To apply for this exciting role, please send a covering letter and CV detailing why you have what it takes to be successful in this role to: ****** close at 5pm on Sunday 1st December 2024.
