As the part time physio, you will provide early intervention treatment for employees who work in our packhouses, binstores and trucking teams, who may be experiencing pain or discomfort due to their job tasks or have a workplace injury. You'll work an afternoon a week (2-6pm) at each of our packhouses in Whakatu and Longlands Road.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage on-site injury treatment clinics; triage and treat injuries by severity.
Provide timely reports on treatment, stay-at-work and return-to-work plans, and relevant injury information.
Conduct ergonomic assessments for packhouse staff as needed.
Maintain collaborative relationships with injury management specialists and other providers.
Educate on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management techniques.
Promote safety within the company through campaigns, workshops, and recognition programs.
What you'll bring:
Registered Physiotherapist.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build relationships and work with diverse groups.
Strong administrative skills for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Self-motivated and passionate about best practices.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety issues.
Eligible to work in New Zealand and pass pre-employment checks.
