Low acuity yet complex cases, providing a balance of routine and stimulating surgical challenges.About the Organisation:Innovative and forward-thinking two theatre orthopaedic day stay unit known for its collaborative, supportive team and leading edge surgical procedures.Equipped to handle a range of interesting and complex yet low acuity cases, including shoulder and knee reconstructions, sports injuries including ACL's and intricate hand surgeries.Poised for growth and an exciting future - two new orthopaedic surgeons joining next year.About the Job:A 32 hour work week based in Hawke's Bay.Monday to Friday.Play an essential role in assisting with diverse orthopaedic procedures, from shoulder replacements to sports injury repairs and human tissue grafting.This role offers variety - work as an RNAA, as a scrub nurse, and in PACU.Work alongside some of the country's leading orthopaedic surgeons, exploring the latest in surgical techniques and procedures.About You:A Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assist (RNAA) or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) specialising in anaesthetic assistance, ideally with experience in PACU and scrub roles.Versatile and adaptable.Passion for and experience within the orthopaedic specialty.Team player.Motivated by challenge.
