Introduction:

About TBI Health

TBI Health was created with a simple idea: to help people with pain, illness, or injury. TBI Health has come a long way since it began its journey in 2001, and since 2016, we have partnered with Southern Cross. Together, we are passionate about ensuring our clients get the right help, at the right time, to get them back on track and living meaningful lives.

We are known to offer an attractive work environment to support staff wellbeing and growth. Our current focus is to continue our work on introducing new services for our staff to become involved in and ultimately help enhance their careers.

It is also important to TBI Health to continue having an equity-focused workplace culture where staff feel supported, enriched, and valued. As a NZ-owned company, we position ourselves as a Te Tiriti partner and have an ongoing commitment to health equity for Maori. Join us on this transformational journey of delivering tailored and quality healthcare services that meet the needs of our diverse Aotearoa.

About The Mahi (role)

Our clinic has been well-established over the past two years and is continuing to expand.

We are on the lookout for a Hybrid Physiotherapist who has a skilled clinical background with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries or impairments and an interest/experience in vocational rehabilitation.

As a clinical Physiotherapist, you will provide experienced assessment, diagnosis, and patient management for our clients.

You will deliver assessments and develop vocational rehabilitation plans from the clinic, as well as remotely (work site and work from home) including the required travel.

We hold the Well at Work/Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Pain Management, Training for Independence, Integrated Care Pathway MSK Contract, Aged Care, Private Rehabilitation Contracts, ACC & Private Rehabilitation Services, Pelvic Health, and much more. There is a great opportunity to work within a diverse range of services and grow your skillset.

Ideally, you will be able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. However, we can offer flexibility in work hours for the right candidate.

About The Hokitika Team

Our team currently consists of a Physiotherapist, an Occupational Therapist, and an Administrator. We are a small but experienced team who enjoy regular social events.

Be part of a team that has achieved great things in the equity space. They continue to increase the cultural capability of the team and build new networks in the community with Maori health providers and local iwi.

We are based in a purpose-built clinic, with a strong and well-developed team further supported via telehealth professions. There is free parking close to the clinic, and the CBD is within a 5-minute walk of the clinic.

Hokitika is a beautiful place with fantastic views of Mt Cook behind the clinic. You will have access to great tramping and mountain biking trails, just over an hour's drive to the closest ski field, and enjoy the stunning beach on your doorstep.
