Geneva Healthcare (part of NZ Health Group) provides a range of personalised programs so people can manage their health and well-being after an injury or illness or living with a disability. Our experienced interdisciplinary team use a person-centred, strength-based, solution-focused approach to suit specific needs.
This is a contracting Physiotherapist position with the Wellness and Rehabilitation team at Geneva Healthcare. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary allied health team, focused on achieving the best health outcomes for our whanau and community.
You will have the opportunity to be a part of our client's rehabilitation journey and see the results of your work. We pride ourselves on our relationships with the community, clients and colleagues, so if you're someone who thrives in a collaborative, supported role then we want to hear from you! You'll be working in schools, homes, businesses and the wider community, so we are looking for a candidate who gets a real kick out of collaboration and supporting clients across their recovery.
The successful candidate will be required to travel across the Queenstown/Lakes region, so you will need to be comfortable driving and have a full clean NZ drivers licence.

Extensive training and real-time support provided
Enjoy a varied caseload, with a combination of musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopaedic clients
Opportunity to independently manage your caseload, including being able to gradually build this, and work with appointment durations that suit you best
Clinical supervision, with options to vary this structure that will work best for you

Current NZ Registration with Physiotherapy Board NZ
Experience in, or a passion to develop skills in rehabilitation and concussion services. While this would be suited to someone with experience, we are very open to consider candidates returning to the workforce or as new graduates!
Understanding of, and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Passion to continue to learn and grow
Ability to work well in a team
An awareness of Health Legislation and the NZ health funding systems
