We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Personal Care Assistant position at Aeralife Northcote for potential Part-time and Casual opportunities.

The Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide support which considers the residents physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs and which enables residents to maintain their own wellbeing and independence for as long as possible. You will be responsible for the delivery of care and services to residents in all areas of activities of daily living in accordance with the residents identified needs and preferences.
How you will make an Impact
You will report to the Registered Nurse in Charge of the Home and be a key member of the team. Some of the key responsibilities of the role are:
Supporting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and hygiene
Supporting and assisting residents with food and fluids as required
Assisting the nursing staff with treatments as directed
Assisting the nursing staff by observing and reporting promptly any changes in the condition or wellbeing of residents.
Assisting residents with recreational activities with direction from the Lifestyle Team

Requirements:
Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care
Previous experience in a Residential Aged Care Facility essential
A high level of written and verbal communication skills
Must possess valid working rights
Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
